Morgan Wallen pleaded guilty to reduced misdemeanor reckless endangerment charges in a Nashville court on Thursday (December 12). The country superstar was then sentenced by the judge to seven days of incarceration at a DUI Education Center. Wallen was also given two years probation, one year for each of Wallen’s misdemeanor charges for reckless endangerment related to his April 7 arrest for drunkenly throwing a chair off of the rooftop of a Nashville bar. Wallen also has to pay a $350 fine and court fees. Wallen pleaded conditionally guilty due to judicial diversion, and if he successfully completes the terms of his probation his charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement. “Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved. Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation,” his attorney Worrick Robinson IV said in a statement. (People)
