Warning! Blake Shelton’s New Video for “Every Time I Hear That Song” Might Make You Nostalgic for a Lost Love

Blake Shelton released the new video for his current single, “Every Time I Hear That Song,” and it just might leaving you pining for your lost love.

The video has The Voice judge longing for an ex as he stands in a cold warehouse in the pouring rain. It may be raining in the video, but Blake isn’t getting wet. The rain surrounds him, keeping him at arm’s length from the girl he can’t get off his mind. Throughout the video, the girl appears as Blake reaches out to her, but alas, she’s just a figment of his imagination that the song conjures up.

“Every time I hear that song / I’m standing in the pouring rain / On your front lawn and oh-oh-oh / I still think about you oh-oh-oh / Every time I hear that song / It’s like the first time it came on and oh-oh-oh / I still think about you oh-oh-oh / I still think about you,” Blake sings in the chorus.

“Every Time I Hear That Song,” written by Chris Lindsey, Brad and Brett Warren and Aimee Mayo, is Blake’s fifth single from his current album, If I’m Honest. Previous releases from the album include “Came Here to Forget,” “Savior’s Shadow,” “She’s Got a Way With Words” and “A Guy With a Girl.”
